Denver Urban Matters’ Hope Benefit 2016

The Denver Urban Matters’ Hope Benefit (get ready for an announcement about a name change from Denver Urban Ministries) is upon us again.  This year will be a great party because we are celebrating 35 years, and an important one because we need the money – there’s been some changes in the way many foundations are awarding grants which has caused DenUM to be shut out from some money we’ve had access to in the past.

For those of you that haven’t been yet, the Hope Benefit is a laid back event hosted this year at The Studios at Overland Crossing which is a really cool venue right off the light rail station at Santa Fe and Evans.  Appetizers, beer, wine and soda are all included in the cost of the ticket.  There is a large silent auction with great items to bid on, followed by some great stories of the fantastic work that DenUM does for its clients to help them get out of the poverty cycle and become self-sufficient.  Attire is business casual.  I’ve been on the board for DenUM for over 2 years now, and this is poised to be the best Hope Benefit yet.

There are still very reasonably priced options for corporate sponsorship for this event as well – let me know if you are interested.

Please give me a shout if you have any questions about DenUM or the Hope Benefit.  I would love to see you there for this special night and if you can’t make it, please consider a one time or recurring donation.

– Brandon
