Recycling for All Equipment

In continuing effort to become a one stop shop for all Information Technology needs, Rocky Mountain Tech Team has implemented an equipment recycling program for our customers. At RMTT do all we can to be environmentally conscious because we believe that it's the right thing to do.

We are able to recycle almost any computer equipment including:

  • Server, Desktop, Laptop
  • CRT, LCD Monitors
  • Networking equipment , switches, routers
  • Battery Backups, and More

Costs:

To offset our cost we will charge

$8 for equipment up to 35 pounds

$16 for equipment over 35 pounds

 

How To Schedule:

We like to schedule our pickups on days when we are planning to be onsite for other IT needs. Looking for an excuse? How about a tune up?

 

Recycling Details:

If we are able to reuse, repurpose, or donate any of the equipment we will do that as a first option. Any equipment that we cannot find another use for we will recycle through our partner Luminous Electronics Recycling. Luminous will help to find a secondary use for your equipment, or de-manufacture the equipment and recycle the commodities (aluminum, copper, etc.) back into the manufacturing stream.

 

Data Safeguards:

Any equipment that we recycle that contains data (such as a hard drive or old backup tapes) will be destroyed using a media shredder and, upon request, we can provide a certificate of destruction
