Brandon Hamilton // Owner, Network Engineer

Brandon’s IT career began in the late 90s on a team managing a 1500 user corporate network. Brandon moved from Wisconsin to Colorado in 2002 and began supporting small and medium sized businesses in the Boulder/Denver area. In his free time Brandon enjoys skiing, mountain biking, travelling and the Green Bay Packers. Be sure to ask him about his latest adventures around the globe.

Derek Buranen // Network Engineer

Derek's repertoire in the IT industry started out with web design in the late 90s and quickly grew to include projects from network design to end-user support. Derek moved to Boulder from Minnesota to work with Rocky Mountain Tech Team in 2003. He also loves to spend time in the mountains camping or snowboarding.

Laurie Zimmerman // Network Engineer

Laurie moved to Boulder in 1995 after graduating from the University of Iowa and has been designing and supporting networks ever since. Her skills run the gamut from introducing the 1st server to a small business to managing 50 server data centers. She is another outdoor enthusiast, enjoying everything from snowboarding and mountain biking to the more mellow activities of snowshoeing and hiking.

Matt Jordan // Network Engineer

Matt started his IT career in Florida in 2003 supporting a local network with 13 servers. He progressed from there starting a consulting job in Florida then making the trip to Colorado. He enjoys working with small businesses to streamline their IT infrastructure and maximize their potential impact on the community. When he's not working he can be found in the mountains snowboarding or mountain biking.

Ben Taylor // Network Engineer

Ben began his life as an unofficial computer technician at the ripe old age of 13, when he would backup, format and rebuild his PC for fun. Before joining RMTT, he was the IT support for various nonprofit organizations across Colorado. When he gets out from behind a computer, Ben enjoys live music, the outdoors, and micro-brews.

Eric Burge // Network Engineer, Manager

Eric’s first computer was an Apple II+ back in 1982 and he’s been working in IT ever since. He’s led technical support teams for companies like IBM, Lucent/Bell Labs and managed the IT department for a nutraceutical company in Broomfield. When Eric is not in front of a computer, he can usually be found in the kitchen perfecting a French sauce. Eric keeps busy with his wife and very active three kids.

Mary Beth Chapman // Office Manager & Customer Advocate

When this picture was taken in Golden in1999, Mary Beth could never have imagined that eleven years later she would be moving from Wisconsin to Boulder to become the Office Manager for Rocky Mountain Tech Team! She has always worked in some aspect of Customer Service and has been taking orders from Brandon for most of his life, so it seemed natural for her to assume the Office Manager duties when Jessica Taylor moved back to Seattle. In her spare time she and her husband Dan can be found with their 2 dogs exploring all the wonders of Colorado.

Ryan is a 9 year industry expert with a wide range of experience. He began his career in 2003 as a technology lead for a local business. In 2009 he started an IT consulting company and currently works as a Systems Engineer for Grooveshark.com in addition to working with RMTT. In his free time he can be found on the slopes strapped to either a snowboard or mountain bike.

Dave Morrison // Macintosh Engineer

Dave is an Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist and member of the Apple Consultants Network. He has been using and supporting Macs for well over 10 years. Relied on by design and law firms alike, Dave's creative solutions and troubleshooting talents help any user accomplish their work faster. Through his experience as an art director and Apple Certified technician, Dave is not only an expert in making systems and applications behave themselves, but also in using them.

Chris Leonard // Home Theater, Cabling

Chris Leonard of Boschen Technologies is a self-confessed audiophile. A formal education with twin degrees in the humanities failed to blunt his technical interests, and work as a recording engineer and technician led him into speaker fabrication and the design of audio systems. Combining this love for the technical side of music with a lifelong interest in computers, and training in structured wiring, Chis has found his niche as a custom designer, installing networks for business, commerce, and best of all, for the sake of pure entertainment.
